I live in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. We have lived here for about 20 years and we love the small town feel. This video attempts to capture the quaint town of Fuquay-Varina.
Meghan + Justin
Meghan and Justin were married at The Shell Island Resort, in Wrightsville, North Carolina. The weather was perfect for the outdoor wedding on the beach. I love filming outdoor weddings. Kick back and enjoy the highlights of their wedding day.
Emily + Harrison
Emily & Harrison exchanged their vows at Jones Chapel at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. The reception was celebrated at Chatham Station in Cary.
Wedding Highlights
Abigail + Chapel
I really enjoy filming weddings. I had a blast filming Abigail and Chapel’s wedding at The JC Raulston Arboretum. I captured some decent footage of the gardens. They were the perfect backdrop for this beautiful wedding.
Hannah & Melvin
Hannah and Melvin celebrated their wedding at High Grove Estates. The weather had been rainy all week and it even rained the morning of the wedding. Fortunately, it stopped raining and the sun came out just in time to have the ceremony held outside. I enjoy filming wedding at High Grove. Hennah and Melvin enjoyed their special day and this wedding film helps capture the love they have for one another.
Torey + Seth
I am so blessed to be able to produce wedding films for couples. I have been happily married for about 29 years. We did not have the technology that we have today to produce aa wedding film that we could enjoy for many years to come. The wedding film pays off 10, 20, 50 years down the road. Our VHS tape literally fell apart. We only have photos to remember our wedding day.
Torey and Seth were married at High Grove Estate in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. I have filmed at High Grove Estate on a number of occasions. I love the venue. It is quaint and is perfect for outdoor weddings. The rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in are spacious and cozy. The reception hall is large and accommodating.
Teacher of the Year: Kristen Schaible
Kristen is the teacher of the year at Buckhorn Creek Elementary School, in Holly Springs North Carolina. I really enjoy projects like Teacher of the Year videos for the Wake County Public School System. Pieces like these shine a light on the hard work and dedication that teachers have for their profession. I try to capture what that looks like when I film teachers in the trenches.
We are very excited about the video we collaborated on. The video will be submitted to the WCPSS to see if she qualifies as the district teacher of the year. If so, she may even go onto compete as the North Carolina teacher of the year. Either way, Mrs. Sheiable is an amazing teacher that impacts each and every one of her students.
Haley & Adam Wedding Highlights
Ellie's Thanksgiving Gift Bags
The Arnolds donate gifts to families and their babies in the NICU at several local hospitals for Thanksgiving and in memory of Ellie. You can participate by selecting gifts for the gift bags. Here is the wishlist.
Heather +Logan
I love producing wedding films verses wedding highlight videos. A wedding film captures the story of how two people fell in love with one another. Heather and Logan share their story and the reasons they love one another. The farm they were married on was a perfect backdrop for their special day. We had a bit of rain and a gust of wind took out the DJ booth, but everything from there on went smoothly. I do want to state that the DJ was very professional and even protected my equipment while it was raining. The photographers were courteous and a pleasure to work along side.
Rebekah & Kevin Wedding Highlights
Rebekah and Kevin were married in Walstonburg, North Carolina at Howell Swamp Church.
Suquecia + Wendell
Suquecia and Wendell were married in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The weather and wedding venue were perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed filming the wedding. Suquecia has an infectious smile and Wendell’s heart is full of love and dedication to Suquecia. I was so taken by Wendell’s vows that I had to start the montage with it to set the tone and mood of this wedding montage.
Melody & Michael
Michael and Melody were married at the The Maxwell in Raleigh, North Carolina. This venue is a rather new one. It has a lovely lawn and green backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. I really liked shooting against the brick walls.
Elgin Marsh, The EM Experience was the photographer. He was a joy to work with. The weather was perfect and the wedding day ran smoothly because of the wedding planner, Alexia Williams.
Becca & Scott
Becca and Scott were married on May 8th, 2021 at Shady Wagon Farm in New Hill, North Carolina. The venue is one of the most picturesque wedding venues in the area. I highly recommend the venue because of the accommodations, scenic views, and courteous staff. The weather was perfect and the timeline for the day was perfectly executed.
Tierny Riggs and her husband were the photographers for the wedding. Tierny and Christopher were very courteous to me and professional. I will be sure to recommend them to my clients. I would enjoy working with them again in the future.
Annakate & Patrick
Annakate and Patrick were married at Walnut Hill in Raleigh, North Carolina. The wedding venue, wedding planner, and photographer were amazing. The venue is drop dead gorgeous. It is a perfect backdrop for a wedding. I love the house. It is large and very spacious. Annakate and the brides maids had the entire second floor to themselves while the fellows used the suite above the garage to get ready and hang out.
Jaclyn Hamilton was the wedding planner. She is very professional and made the days events fall into place with perfect timing and elegance. She was very friendly to me and I highly recommend her.
I love filming weddings. I enjoy seeing two individuals make a commitment to one another and express their love to one another by getting married. Patrick and Annakate were so excited to get married and their joy and love for each other is apparent in the footage I filmed.
I have filmed with the Canon 5D Mark II and III for the past few years. I recently bought a Canon 90D to use for my slow motion footage. I have to say that I am very pleased with it. My style keeps evolving as technology advances. I try to capture life’s most precious memories that can be cherished for many years to come.
Erika & Ben Wedding Montage
I filmed this wedding at Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is by far one of the nicest venues I have filmed at. I film weddings for a company from time to time. They have me film at 60FPS. I usually film at 30fps. In fact I film some footage at 24fps and most of the b-role at 60fps. The effect this has is that you can slow down the 60fps footage to 24 fps and it creates a gorgeous slow motion effect.
I have been shooting for 15 years. My style has changed over the years. I use different equipment than I did in the past and I edit with a different technique and style. Currently I am slowing down much of my b-role footage. I try not to slow everything down. I keep the ceremony at 24fps and the reception events. I produce wedding films and montages. I have yet to produce a wedding film that incorporates 60fps b-role. I am looking forward to filming my first one next wedding season.
Angelica & Stanley
Angelica & Stanley were married at the Cloth Mill in Durham, North Carolina. This is a beautiful venue. I highly recommend because of the versatility and pleasing aesthetics of this venue. The Cloth Mill has the ability to provide you with an outdoor wedding or an indoor wedding. The day Angelica and Stanley were married was a very rainy day. We were able to spend some time in the courtyard and the alley by the tower. The venue is very spacious and can accommodate a large or small wedding. There are two dressing rooms. One for the bride and one for the groom. The bridal dressing room is large, but the groom’s dressing room not very spacious.
I filmed most of my footage using a camera stabilizer called a gimbal. It allows me to move the camera and get a more cinematic style of footage. Angelica and Stanley requested I film using this style. I filmed the ceremony with five camera angles. The audio from the sound board was used for the entrance and exit music and the audio for the vows was captured using a wireless microphone I placed on Stanley.
Kirsten & Cameron
Kirsten & Cameron where married at the Little Herb House in Raleigh, North Carolina. I think this is a very lovely wedding venue. The bride and groom both have areas to get ready in. There is a beautiful area for a lawn wedding over looking a lake. The barn is very spacious and suited for receptions. There are also several areas for taking photos of the wedding party and the bride and groom. I like the garden area and the pasture.
Kirsten and Cameron are a beautiful young couple that love each other dearly. Their ceremony was moving and they know how to dance and have a good time with their friends and family members. Cameron surprised Kirsten with a fancy Rolls Royce to leave in.
Isabella & Michael Wedding Film
Isabella & Michael were married in New Hill, North Carolina at The Bradford. I love this wedding venue. There are large areas for the bride and groom to get ready. The driveway up to the house is a great location for outdoor shots because the house is in the backdrop. The ceremony was originally going to be outdoors but had to be moved inside because of rain.
Katie & Aaron Wedding Film
Katie and Aaron were married at Carrollock Farms. I live five minutes from Carrollock Farms. It is a beautiful barn-style venue. Katie and Aaron selected my wedding film package. My wife and I were married 26 years ago. We do not have a wedding video we can watch. A wedding film will pay off years and decades into a marriage. I capture the story of how two people’s paths crossed. I would love to have a video of my wife and I sharing our story, it is very unique. A wedding film captures the excitement and passion that the bride and groom have for each other when they share the specific details of what they love about each other.
There are wedding videographers that are charging between $2,000 – $3,000 to film a wedding. My wedding packages are priced low because I do not hire other people to film or edit for me. I offer a quality product for an affordable fee. I meet with my potential clients for coffee to discuss the details of their wedding. Email me or give me a call if you would like to discuss the details of filming your wedding.
